Marcos Szeinfeld, M.D.

Dr. Szeinfeld knows and understands how important it is for you to find relief from pain. He has dedicated his life to those who desire a full, comfortable life.

Dr. Szeinfeld was trained at the University of Miami School of Medicine, which is also a world renowned teaching institution. There, he was appointed Associate Director of the Pain Clinic as well as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology.

His academic work has been presented in National and International scientific meetings, including abstracts on treatment of postdural puncture headaches, epidural blood patches and regional anesthesia for the upper and lower extremities.

He has achieved Diplomate status in the American Board of Anesthesiology and is also a Diplomate in Pain Medicine. Presently he is the Medical Director of Fort Lauderdale Pain Medicine and is a member of numerous societies: American Pain Society, American Academy of Pain Medicine, International Spinal Injection Society, American Society Regional Anesthesia, American Society of Anesthesiologists, Florida Society of Anesthesiologists and American Academy of Pain Management.

From his expertise and understanding of Pain Medicine, combined with his exceptionally high level of patient care, he has been honored as "Physician of the Year" for 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001, as chosen by other physicians. He was selected top doctor again in 2006.

Dr. Szeinfeld has created an individual care environment that utilizes the latest techniques in the field of Pain Medicine. He is on staff at several medical centers in South Florida.
